Product Description

Popular Indian dessert Ras Malai has its roots in the eastern state of West Bengal. A sweet, creamy sauce flavoured with cardamom and saffron is poured over soft, spongy cheese patties to create this dish. Paneer (cottage cheese) and semolina are combined and formed into little balls to make the cheese patties used in Ras Malai. After being slightly flattened, the balls are cooked in a syrup consisting of sugar and water until they are tender and pliable.

After being cooked, the cheese patties are taken out of the syrup and put in a bowl. The dish is finished off with a creamy sauce consisting of milk, sugar, and cardamom, saffron strands, and chopped nuts like almonds or pistachios.

Ras Malai is a popular dessert at festivals and special events like weddings and religious festivities. It is normally served chilled. Because of its distinctive flavour and texture, it is a rich and decadent dessert that is loved by many people all over the world.
